The stringy bark tree sheds its outer layer, around this time of the year. Pink and purple hues peel down, slowly, slowly, revealing beneath it a green-grey skin. The colour is unique, each tree different to the next. If one looks closely, it’s wavy texture is evident – there’s so much variation even within each tree.
It reminds me to shed my outer layer, my shell, often, to explore the many unique facets that exist beneath the surface. We are so often stuck within our habit energies, we forget about our ability to transform, to flow, to change, to explore the creativity laying beneath our bark.
Day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute, we change. We are in flux. Nothing is ever the same. Let’s embrace that, and be.
